Shelley, what is Lifestyle Nutrition Centres all about.
We help people achieve their weight loss and body shape dreams. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing someone reach their goal, looking and feeling great. People know what they should and should not eat, we just help to keep people honest and focused. Unfortunately there is no magic answer to losing weight. It requires diligence and the right advice.
Why would I need a nutritionist?
Each of us has a million and one things that need to get done every day. The school run, shopping, board meetings, commuting, and somehow find the time to eat properly! That is why we each need a food plan, which is completely practical and tailored to our lifestyle, our goals and the amount of exercise we do or not as the case may be! The plan must fit into our life and show what to do and when. We even help with shopping lists, recipes and advice on takeaways! Together we will use the foods that you like to create a plan which you can stick to. This can include up to six meals a day!
Do I have to exercise?
Exercise definitely helps fitness and weight loss. The more lean muscle you have the faster you burn calories. However you can exercise as much as you like, but if you don’t eat the right foods in the right quantities at the right times you might as well stay on the couch. Personal trainers are a must and nutrition is paramount!
What is the 12-Week Programme that you run?
As well as casual nutritional advisory we also run a 12-Week Challenge in conjunction with EAS. It is designed for the person who is serious about changing their body shape. In just 12-weeks we can help people lose body fat and increase lean muscle. We meet one on one weekly and check to see if you are on target. If you are not, we modify your food plan or your exercise regime to ensure that we get back on track.
